Natural healing methods have been used for thousands of years to help people heal and thrive and we want to share this amazing natural medicine with middle Tennessee! We are not here to hard-sell you on something you don’t need. Brian Guanzon

Mountain Path Healing Arts Studio founder and director

Was born in Long Island, New York, the son of a Filipino-American medical doctor and an American medical technician. Since childhood, medicine has always been in his life. After working in New York City in corporate marketing and advertising, he decided to change careers and began studying Chinese medicine out of intellectual curiosity. After witnessing its power and effectiveness he became a believer and a proponent of this powerful healthcare system. He recognizes the importance of meeting people where they are and deeply listening to support what is healthy to overcome the disease.

He is continually learning new and old healing methods and improving his knowledge by studying different disease patterns.

He specializes in pain management and metabolic disorders using a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Tung style acupuncture.

Cara Peffley LMT, Master massage therapist

Cara has been a licensed massage therapist since 1997 and has gained more than 10,000 hours of experience since her certification at the Southwest Institute of Healing Arts.

She received top-notch training in various techniques such as Swedish. Therapeutic, Myofascial, Sports and Thai Massage. Her experience and hours of practice might deem her an expert in her craft, but she still maintains a curious mind and an openness to learning from her best teachers, the folks who receive her massage.

Cara believes that an effective massage therapist is not only a healthcare professional but a craftsman who uses their training and experience to match the most appropriate techniques and pressure with a variety of body shapes and soft-tissue types. The result can be increased mobility and natural pain relief. A creative practitioner can customize a relaxing session based on a client’s particular needs and preferences. However, a compassionate massage therapist listens with their hands as well as the heart and creates a calm space where everyone can experience the deep inner quiet and profound restoration that the healing power of touch can provide.
